Weight loss, probably the most sought after topic in the internet, is not that hard to achieve. You will find hundreds of pills and thousands of exercise programs that will lead to weight loss. But all of them have a common factor. They will tell you to starve, if not, to reduce the quantity of your diet radically. But do you really have to do so? Our diet is a balanced composition of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, minerals and vitamins. All of them are required for us to develop a hale and hearty body. You can’t afford to lose any one of them. So, what is the way out? Here comes the theory of calorie shifting.

When you starve or reduce the quantity of any particular group, the physiological condition of your body tries to restore as much energy as possible. At this time, body goes to a so called ‘starvation mode’. Calorie shifting theory tells us to constantly rotate the type of foods. Thus your body will ‘think’ that you are high on calorie and will try to burn calories in terms of fat. It is not required to cut down fat or carb or any other group. You are free to eat any kind of food. Only thing you have to carefully consider that the calorie you are taking should come from different food groups.

In a calorie shifting diet plan, we are playing a trick. It is a trick to fool our body is that we are not starving. Subsequently, our body will raise the metabolic procedure to burn more calories. Most of these calories come from fat as fat is the highest source of energy.

Calorie shifting diet is, by far, the easiest way to lose weight. You are not required to do any vigorous exercises (although couple of minutes of brisk walking and light aerobic exercises once in a while is recommended). You can take four major meals a day. You can take as much food as you want, but the diet should contain foods from each of four groups.

At present, there are more than 800 million obese American roaming in the streets. This new concept of calorie shifting diet can change the way we live.
